You might be thinking to yourself… “What type of topic is this?”
I wouldn’t blame you for that, because this idea just hit me this morning while reading another blog from a very successful entrepreneur (yes, who claims to be an introvert).
He wrote that he is an introvert at his core, but knows that no matter how amazing his products are, he needs to break out of that shell and get ungodly amounts of attention. Otherwise, nobody will be able to by his products.
Here’s why I had this epiphany…
You see, I actually use his products (which just happens to be online training – yes, it’s Grant Cardone) and I know how many layers deep his thinking is about his particular topic.
And then I thought “Well maybe he took the time to study this topic of selling so deeply and broke down every little piece of selling and closing BECAUSE he’s an introvert.”
Now you might ask yourself… “Well why would being an introvert push him to break things down into more detail?”
Another great question! Which leads me to this theory…
Introverts Are Perfectionists
I would say I’m an introvert because it seems like it takes so much physical energy to talk to people that I’m exhausted after a conversation.
It’s much easier for me to focus in on creating a great product, or studying a subject in extreme detail, than it is to interact with a lot of people.
So basically, I’m saying an introvert would be a perfectionist because they would rather put effort into their product than selling that product to people!
Because they would rather build a super amazing product than go out and network with people, introverts tend to build better products simply because of the amount of extra time they put into it.
Why this is a double-edged sword…
Unfortunately, even though you have the best product that earth has seen since the invention of the pizza bagel (don’t kid yourself), you won’t sell it to anyone if you can’t bring attention to your business.
If you’re an introvert, this is why investing in something like Cardone University is so helpful. You need to learn how to interact and communicate with people so you can sell your great products!
The plus side is when you do get your product in front of people, you will have a huge advantage in the marketplace!

P.S. To sum this all up, I’m saying that if you consider yourself an introvert, you need to learn how to sell your superior products to other people.
If you prefer to only focus on developing great products and growing your business, then simply hire some outgoing people to sell your products! 🙂
