
Do you feel like your sales cycle is taking too long? Like a bad movie that your spouse made you watch, and it just won’t get to the end so you can see who really framed the rabbit?
The reality is, your sales probably ARE taking too long, and it’s also probably YOUR fault!
You’re either doing too much of something, you’re missing something completely, or your mind is set that your process has to be a certain length.
Lucky for you, I’m going to show you 3 killer ways that you can speed up your sales process, and start closing deals faster than your date on prom night!

1) Give Price Upfront
This isn’t rocket science, but this is something that most companies will NEVER tells their sales team to do.
Why? Because management thinks that withholding price gives them leverage, which is maybe the silliest thing I’ve heard in sales.
The bottom line is the buyer can’t actually buy your product until they have a price. Makes sense, right?
So if they can’t buy without a price, and you want to speed up your sales cycle, you can kill two birds with one stone and just bring up price upfront!

2) Offer Information
This is another brain twister (not really), but also something that most companies get wrong.
For whatever reason, people think that withholding information is a good thing in sales. But just imagine how you feel when you ask a question, and the salesperson starts dancing around your question in a jolly attempt to not answer you…
Does that type of behavior make you more interested in doing business with them, or more interested in doing business with their competitor?
Look, nobody can make a buying decision without information. So again, it’s in everybody’s best interest to give the buyer as much information as they need in order to make a decision!
Disclaimer: I’m not implying that you just overload the person with every detail and fact about your product or company. What I’m saying is answer their questions, provide them with resources, and show them how you can solve their problem!

3) Do It Now
This is the single biggest mistake that salespeople make, and the leading reason why their sales cycles are so long!
Salespeople like to make themselves look extremely busy all the time, so when a buyer actually gives them the green light to book an appointment, the seller says something like…
“Yeah, the only times I have open this week are Wednesday at 2pm or Friday at 10am. What works for you?”
B*tch it’s Monday and your calendar is wide open all week! I digress…
The thing is, people that are truly interested in something DO NOT want to wait to get the benefits of that product! They want it now.
Think of the last time you wanted to buy a new car. Did you want it today, or 30 days from now?
So whether it’s setting up an appointment, sending information, going over price, getting the buyer a free trial, speaking with the real decision maker, etc. your goal needs to be URGENCY.
Your customers will appreciate you, you’ll close deals faster, and you will be operating like a true top producer!
