Wanted to share a great lesson in selling by one of the greatest business minds of the 21st century, because this alone will easily double your production if you can master it.
I’ve mentioned this before, but the greatest persuasion hack is increasing your level of CONVICTION in what you’re selling.
“The way you talk about the products that you have, will indicate the level of conviction that you have.”
Conviction is how much do you believe in what you’re selling, not just “do you believe, or do you not?”.
Sales is simply a transference of conviction / certainty.
TRUST completes the transfer.
Your skills are just a way for you to bridge the gap and build trust so that you’re able to transfer your conviction to the other person.
And here’s a key point…
“People who believe in something, automatically sell it.”
But here’s the thing…you can’t transfer what you don’t have, so you need to build your own conviction first and sell yourself.
The great thing is that even if you lack skills in different parts of the sales process, transferring conviction will help you overcome your weaknesses to the point where they won’t even matter.
So if you haven’t already, you’ll want to read some case studies and success stories (often) so that you can get yourself fully sold on what type of positive outcomes your customers are having with your products.
